Banana Pancakes

Easy to make banana pancakes that take no time to prep and make, ready in around 15-20 minutes.

Sweet and healthy banana pancakes, ready to eat in around 15-20 minutes. As we're using wholemeal flour rather than white this recipe is on the healthier side.

Ingredients

  • 2 decent bananas (ripe ones better)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 mug or wholemeal self-raising flour (can also use white flour)
  • 1 level teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 mug of semi-skimmed milk

Method

  1. Add the flour and milk into a large bowl and mix.
  2. Add cinnamon to mixture and continue to whisk.
  3. Mush the banana into small pieces and stir into the mixture. This forms our batter.
  4. Add a teaspoon of olive oil to a small frying pan and pour a good dollop of the batter to the pan. Wait until small bubbles appear on the surface and flip to cook the other side.
  5. Serve with maple syrup, honey or a selection of dried or fresh fruit (although it is sweet as is so maybe not too many sweet items).
