Banana Pancakes
Easy to make banana pancakes that take no time to prep and make, ready in around 15-20 minutes.
Sweet and healthy banana pancakes, ready to eat in around 15-20 minutes. As we're using wholemeal flour rather than white this recipe is on the healthier side.
Ingredients
- 2 decent bananas (ripe ones better)
- 1 egg
- 1 mug or wholemeal self-raising flour (can also use white flour)
- 1 level teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 mug of semi-skimmed milk
Method
- Add the flour and milk into a large bowl and mix.
- Add cinnamon to mixture and continue to whisk.
- Mush the banana into small pieces and stir into the mixture. This forms our batter.
- Add a teaspoon of olive oil to a small frying pan and pour a good dollop of the batter to the pan. Wait until small bubbles appear on the surface and flip to cook the other side.
- Serve with maple syrup, honey or a selection of dried or fresh fruit (although it is sweet as is so maybe not too many sweet items).
